Well, forum badges and extra features are alright, I suppose. It's really up to developers.

if they were going to have microtransactions in this game it should be for item recolors or custom village flags or building/crafting recipes that allow you to make cosmetically different items that perform the same function as existing ones. something visual only.

I see no reason cosmetic features wouldn't be ok. It could certainly lead more people to donate, and that's a great thing.

Plus I think it's better than the current system for gaining anything uniquely cosmetic, which is basically just reporting a bug and getting a cape or some shit. Why do people get rewarded for doing exactly what they're supposed to do in an alpha game?

Agreed.

Cosmetic items, special forum-name colour/ingame name whatever. Maybe even gender change ingame.

I can imagine something like: "You donated 5 USD! You now have the ability to summon the plastic surgeon if you're a trannie!" :)

Naw, joking, some awesome fancy cape or something would be cool, but just not some stupid title or something that can give you an advantage in-game.

THIS.

Everything else: nope.avi

Also, I haven't got enough fingers to count how often such threads have been opened during my time here. Our wish to support J&L can't be stressed enough, huh? We can now atleast be sure that they aren't going to starve to death over the course of 2011, with Salem and Paradox financially backing them...

Find a clay/soil/mine with VERY high quality and sell it's location on ebay and then turn all profits to H&H development!
