I like this idea. not the growing in a green house thing. its neat, but not really realistic. I would like to grow things inside a cave. what about cave soil spots. just fort of splotchy little chunks of dirt along the sides of water sources,or some kind of spawn box for mushrooms, or just a log hauled in from outside. mushrooms are something id like to grow at least, and maybe some kind of reed like plant that can be processed into fibers...

you might need soil for stomping mineground to farbable underground (dirt?)
this soild could be exhausted after like 3 harvest so you need to renew it

to make it more evil you could need water too, but before that id like to have wells in caves, please ;)

I know some people who grow mushrooms in their cellar, using rotting logs as substrate. Maybe we could use wooden blocks for growing mushrooms?

The big secret about that dev dining room in black space that Sodom took over, was that you could grow trees/crops in it.

Don't houses in caves rely on some light source?

Yet somehow we can still see in a house that has no way of being lit.

There could be a fix of a new forageable called "Sunbulb" or something, that acts as a socket plant to give the plants the needed sunlight.

It's called indirect lighting. Pitch a tent in Siberia at night. If you don't get eaten by wolves first, prepare to marvel at the number of stars you can see in a place where night-time is blacker than hell.

I'll second that. ;)
I'm not worthy enough to capitalize the "e" in "english" because all I do is butcher it.
