I think this game is not for everyone.

If you were to spend your 12 hours building up a nice town, collecting seeds and generally playing the game rather than bucket grinding, when you die, you can just create a new character at your town and you have lost very little.

There are plenty of games out there without a death system like this. Although I don't doubt your experience in game developing, I think this game has a different target audience to those that you usual develop for as I do not think the developers are trying to make this a game for mass marketing to everyone.

Good luck with your developing.

This is like saying that CoD would be perfect if only they removed guns. Permadeath is *the* selling point of H&H.

I think that the permadeath would blow without the inheritance system. Its existence makes it not only tolerable but warms the role-playing part of my heart; never would I think tha it would be okay for a character of mine to die, but to be able to further the family name just adds to the story I weave for my hearthlings.

Perma death should be removed and we should have special PvP areas to make this game way better, fun and unique.

Dude, what's the point of a sandbox game, when you're immortal? That's what you're suggesting. It would be horrible to see people who grinded for a year straight, and have all 2k+ stats. Then you kill that person, gain their LP, and then they just get back up? Horrible idea. Then you wouldn't care about dying or your character, and it wouldn't feel like a survival game anymore. Quit crying, dust off the shame and your shoulder, reincarnate, get revenge.

All players are immortal. PVP is restricted to PVBuildings - so you destroy only the Villages and have to start anew when it is burned to dust.

- Make Building much easier, like remove the Inventory - put a "Ressource Bar" on top of the GUI and when you cut down a Tree > bam +3 Wood, the buildings build themselves when you put up the building task.

Crafting NPCs like "Soldiers", "Archers" and more siege weapons, Catapults etc would also make the game much more balanced...

Wait what...

What's the end-goal, a tower defence game?
