You can still get LP rather easily, just not as fast as before. The problem now is you gotta relearn a new system of how to gain that LP and there isn't even a wiki for all the ways to do it since they revamped the system.

I myself am already 2k away from yeomany and would've got much farther if I could see anything.

There's also still plenty of ways to exploit the system to gain LP. From what I've experienced so far dying makes you lose about half your LP, but you get to do all those things over for more easy LP and you get to hit beliefs for a second time for more learning %. Once you get yeomany I'd imagine you can exploit that as a LP bank and just keep dying until you fill up your claim with a lot of LP that you don't lose when you die.

What about old system but if you do same action in some period of time (12h for example) every lp gained is reduced by 0,1. So you get 100lp for foraging then 90lp 81 lp and so on

Stupidest exp system I've ever seen.
This game is now not for fun, but for waste time. What is the motivation for farming, mining, hunting, if I not get experience.
You can't get skills, because you must wait for exp from study system, if you haven't skills you can't make what you need and must wait, waiting is boring and you will stop playing.
Is not a game where you can follow the story, so you need to exp, fast exp.

why could he not ? The two systems are fairly different, comparing them on basic points isn't too complicated.

For instance, stating that I don't like to have to dedicate time to gaining LPs whereas I used to get some for basically doing anything in the sandbox without optimizing it doesn't need complete knowledge on the curio system.

Been on since the start. Leveling the same skills by progression as normal. Set up near some high Q clay. A house or two, roads, the beginning of the architecture of a new village. Only to have it claimed the next day by someone who went straight for yeomanry and only logged on for an hour.

Well, for one thing I got diametrically opposite conclusions about the influence on playstyle. Last map I started by staying in base and building a million dreamcatchers (sans string), this map I'm exploring my surroundings for resources and getting LP as a byproduct.
