5 boards per 100L for beer
Most people would take the space saving of buckets of wine over the "ease" of beer in barrels.
Extra work.
Harvesting shit and stuff->Barrel(Time)->Bucket->Cupboard(160L)
Harvesting shit and stuff(drying too)->Barrel->Drink(100L)
From here is where wine gets more annoying the post production
Wine:
Grab glass->Open cupboard->Lift bucket->Click glass->Put bucket back->Drink
Beer:
Grab tankard->Click barrel->Put tankard back in inventory->Drink
Since you'll be drinking a lot more times than when creating it, overall you probably save clicks on beer compared to wine, it's just that most are post production as opposed to wine being during production you save on all the kiln/h table, and all the other shit.
Overall they're about the same, wine is a lot better and I'd say if you're going for max efficiency, wine is where it is at overall for simplicity and beer could use more recipes and 'boosts' to make it favorable, but so could wine in my opinion.
