We shouldn't be fucking moving our hearths all over the place. Learn to make a system of teleports (which we have DoG *cough*).

I mean look at this retarded scenario:

Break into a hearth vault: Bitches have moved their HFs all the way across the fucking map, waste of god damn time and resources and energy. Hearthfire are what's really flawed about raid mechanics, then the icing on the cake is stupid walls and rams.

I move my HF sometimes every 2-3 hours, sometimes several times within an hour, yes.

In response to what alpha was saying: It would inhibit gameplay on a day-to-day basis just to let people get at some griefers? Who cares about them, they'll grief either way.


Who's talking about just griefers? What if you want to raid a major faction that hides their characters behind hearthvaults. You bust into the first one and then you just wasted time because they've already moved a) to another vault b) to their city.

I'm sorry but what the fuck kind of gameplay is this where people can just avoid all risk at the drop of a hat really.

That's the game, deal with it.

Everything works both ways, not just to hinder griefers.

Setting up CRs is just as annoying as that, and you also need to have auth somewhere, HF can go anywhere.
HF moving is a temporary at the moment thing to do, CRs are not. HFs you can also warp back to from anywhere, CRs you cannot.

I still don't even see how people need to move their hearths everywhere. Mine has been stationary for like 2 months and honestly I am doing quite fine.

Neither are you so I want to hear more evidence that constant HF moving is so common in gameplay.

Excuse me, but avoiding risk would require at the very least construction of several brickwalled vaults (like 7?). "Drop of a hat" ?

1 hearthvault = perfect defense

Nobody breaks into the fucking things and by the time you do the twits have moved out and scents are about to expire.
