I always wear togas up to the point I can afford merchant robes. Because togas are just plain awesome, and they go great with Bunny Slippers (best footwear in the game).

Man I want to feast using a toga, sandals and a leaf crown on my head

also If I could get better rabbit fur no other footwear would matter in this game
