I doubt anyone chops them just for lp, because the current treeline is far away from rob (or 1 river actually) and they dont give that much lp.

Don't know about that, trees are a pretty important resource and at the root of a lot of methods of earning LP.

Ironically the best way to protect your trees (palisades) requires lots of trees. Thankfully the second best way to protect your trees (owned property) doesn't require that many. And the third best way (being located somewhere remote) is easy too.

On a side note it's a little odd that my dense glob of trees turns the minimap a dense black, rather than a shade of green.
