Uhm, no. A longbow had a draw weight of 180lb, max. Arbalests (steel crossbows) had a draw weight of up to 5000lb.
Heh, I was just going to leave that alone. Seriously, though, crossbows just get bigger and bigger until they become ballista and hurl spears.
