I can see it all now. Beehives. Lots and lots of beehives. Everywhere. For the sole purpose of bear baiting.
Since we're on the animal attraction topic, certain animals could be attracted to certain objects. Like boars and rabbits could be attracted to crop fields; foraging the crops and consequently destroying them. To combat the foraging animal menace you would need to build fences to keep 'em out (even though rabbits are technically small enough to squeeze through fences, lets just say they can't for the sake of the argument.)
Roundpole fences should also be given a gate, it doesn't even have to be a lockable gate, or it could have the option to be. Just something enclosed to keep foraging animals out.
Cooking meat, or even dropping meat/meat products could attract the carnivorous animals such as foxes, bears, etc.
