he didn't say watermelons, he said melons...there are bunches of types of melons, some native to europe.

cantaloupe(is actually a term for any orange fleshed melon and the term is of european descent)
honeydew(had other names in europe and I don't know them)
santa claus melon(definitely european, but I'm not sure whhat part of europe)

so there are melons in the area, just not watermelons.

You're right with saying he didn't say Watermelons! But you're wrong with Melon history - Melons in Europe since
Roman Empire times - decent = Africa

If it recovers hunger then it would be pretty much useless. Unless at higher qualities it rivaled water for stamina regeneration. Then we'd see pictures of people running around carrying 50L of watermellon juice, and then people starving themselves before they went into battle.

I think that it should not lower, or raise hunger, but only recover stamina. Then it would effectively be raising it, just to counter the hunger loss from recovering stamina.

so we're debating the timeline of HnH now? I can point out that we use steel in game and though there was some iron working in europe pre-roman empire, the production of steel wasn't a common thing before 2 significant things: 1 the roman empire spread through those parts, and 2 the migration period near the end of the roman empire...

you could also argue its much earlier than roman empire since we use stone axes pretty much the entire game, but people used flint axes well into the iron age also.
it could be argued it was much later because we farm in a stationary location

then again the real kicker here:
from the About Page
Haven & Hearth is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) set in a fictional world loosely inspired by Slavic and Germanic myth and legend
