HHP drain is EXTREMELY horrible. HNH was open and free, lively game where everyone could play how they wished. it was really unique game and amazing because of that. NOW, with the drain, one group of players is fucked deep. This is such a shame because in my opinion everyone should be equal. Even criminals.

I understand that this was a result of scent-spaming. But it is simply a bad way to fix a problem.

what is so equal about a criminal stripping all items available from the victim having the same consequence as a criminal touching just one item?

being a criminal is a gameplay choice. The same as being a farmer, miner etc. Lets add HHP drain to miners (no not caveins) and farmers every time they get ore or pick plants. Does that sound like fun?
Being bad to other players is a gameplay choice. ALL the other games already put to many rules. hnh seems going towards that path too.

i don't think IRL victim status should be equal to victim status ingame. I would just love that players themselves would decide how they live in game. Can we let it be the matrix, a place escape and have fun. Sure death and loss of your stuf might not be fun but that what makes (or made) the game fun. You know that feeling in the start of the world when nothing has happened there. nothign is built. just free canvas to do anything you want. ANYTHING. But now the HHP drain limits the possibilities.

in one line- Hnh was about creating and losing. Now it's about creating and maybe loosing if the other player willing to go over unnecessary hassle.

The punishment of leaving scents should be just that, the possibility of dying due to a scent. But with this system in place, i think it's a better idea to at least have some kind of stat check for the hhp drain. Seriously, go walk around for a few mins, people have already started leaving massive claims on chars that are obviously alts with no other stats but some LP to drop a massive claim. It's become a game of cockblock the giant claim with tiny claims so people can't expand it to a point of you not being able to declaim it. I feel like these claims should hold less weight then an actual character that has more effort put into it then a glimmermoss a day. And should big villages not be rewarded more for making their claim big then just village idols with no expansions just to hold a clay node?
