realistic maps and sea.

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Haven won't have deserts and jungles. :)

Damn, Atleast remove that f*ing Thickets if the developers are too lazy to add new stuff, and I'l be fine off then.

I'm always for pirate ships, a house on water with pirate flag to add to this nice continental idea.

Somewhat like a log-cabin housed on a medium sized ship. You could live in it and store cupboards. Then I'l be able to collect curiuos riverside everyday w/o having to leave my home, lel

If open seas were implemented perhaps longboats or some sort of larger seaworthy ship should be added that a group of people can travel on. I think a something derived from a viking longboat would be the best option, or perhaps a galley.

Maybe there should be unexplored continents in the outskirts that are exotic with higher quality and rarer animal spawns. Areas that are prone to storms, tornados and natural catastrophes causing these areas to randomly disappear or rather the technical term reset.

well there are no real maps of the world. so these secret islands could be very far into the ocean. it would take an hour to fight against wind, storms or tornadoes.

and because these events always change, it would be hard to find the island again.

You should find the thread of the mapgen and maps that whatshisface suggested late world 2... or was it 3? I'll try find it, it was awesome.

The mistake he made, I guess, was to suggest it. If you want to be almost dead certain not to have it implemented, then suggest it.

EDIT: I think it was Pacho
