Hmm...thanks LoW for the response.

Sadly, I don't think I'd make a very good pet - I talk too much. Though I suppose that does make it more fun for raiders to kill me. *sigh* Such is the life of a noob/nab I suppose.

And now, back to foxes and pets and other on topic things...

Noobs are people that play for a long time, yet still suck. Most people don't know the word newb, which is what you use for a new player.

At any rate I'd have to argue against the idea of adding any kind of attack to any kind of pet, even though I'm new myself. It'd just wreck the balance in headhunting even more.

No thank you. I would be more inclined to have tamed wolves turn into dogs.

Now that's clever - I would love to see wolves in the game- and taming them to dogs is a really interesting idea!

Yeah, that would be amazing. But they would have to add wolves, when theres already foxes.

I would like to formally request a title change to the mods, to fix the name of the thread to: "Noobs irrationally get their hopes up on bad ideas"
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

It isnt the same as normal hope. This is like telling someone with stage 3 cancer that everything will be just fine, when they are obviously fucked. It's literally cruel for letting these guys think their idea is even remotely going to happen.

I think you need to get laid bro.

Otherwise about the idea, it's quite cool, we could imagine packs of wolves which would be agressive if you are hurt.
If you attack one of them, they would act like a herd and attack you all together.

I don't like much the idea of fighting with the player though, this would lead to abuses.
Although they could hunt rabbits when you unleash them, (like actual foxes do on their own).

It's like the herds of aurochs and mouflons, except they live in forest.
Tameable as the aurochs and mouflons.
Leashable like aurochs and mouflons, would attack rabbits in the vincinity when unleashed like foxes.

This doesn't seem so hard, and this idea is being discussed since YEARS, I bet there are wolves in Hafen!

This thread recalls me of "Unreal world", a fun survival game, it's solo player, and you can have pets ;)

Yeah ok, theres a chance it wont happen. Isnt there a even chance it could happen? i mean, theres a 50-50 chance it will or wont. Its up to two people.
