Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Wow bud I think that your ideas to bridge the gap between titans and weaker players is gonna hurt the 1% very badly :(

Does it not seem a little bit stupid that one guy can bring an entire community to its knees?
Should the mood strike, Four of me couldn't take one of them, and there is nothing I could ever do to change that. No amount of my time will ever catch up to theirs, which is why I'm hermitting around just enjoying the dead villages and hoping hafen will be different somehow to allow for group-ups to actually be able to stop or threaten raiders.

You don't put any effort into being able to defend yourself, whereas raiders work quite hard to become strong, and you want them to be rewarded with nothing?

maybe instead of whining you and your 4 buddies each got 500 ua which is easy and should be enough to fend off 1 raider, and noone can raid you if you just do proper wall checks.
If you just wait for hafen you will get behind the more experienced players and then cry again 3 months in when they have more stats than you.

and also, the fact to the matter is that 4 ppl can beat that one lonely titan. you dont even need the UA, you just need the know how and a bit of luck, a good group and good timing.
all stack IP's, one evil eyes and/or takes the punch and gets KO'd. while cooldown the others OP-knock until guy has 0 defence and u get a hit or two in. rinse, repeat. stop beeing bad ;)

Actually it doesn't really work that way. The titan would obliterate them with maneuvers and stay alive from his armor class (and oak stance).

NO amount of shitty noobs could be enough to kill a char thats got, say, 1k str, 600 agi, 600 con, 1.5k ua 1.5k mc and 3k armor class. And there are way better characters than that out there.

You would have to have people who invested at least something into a combat character. 4 people with 500 ua for instance could possibly take him down with punches. Much easier if one of them is full martial with an ok B12 and can break palis with his hands.

Lol yeah, me and a few other people sparred with a half titan, and we never got through his defense. It's very difficult to kill someone that moves, because at any point only one person can chase him at a time to get a hit off, and if you try to out flank him you are just gonna get punched and knocked out in one hit, because you are moving.

I'm really tired of people telling me to get good, Or that it's so easy for a group gank, It really isn't, The poor fucker with the job of being the evil eye is totally hosed, with the worlds longest cooldown timer, Especially with agi difference being high, and the advantageous time to use it being with the intensity low.

I've practiced, I've sparred, experimented and tried for a long long time, I used to have whole village spars, testing shit, Trying to get mobile calldowns building up for an organized and well timed op knocks, and it really doesn't come together well enough for anything to happen, because any guy who was playing the titan who was worth a shit when it came to fighting knew to tread carefully, and work us down and not get caught with his pants down, Sometimes we won, but overwhelmingly the high stats almost always prevailed.

I'm not saying the people who are the best don't work hard, And that they don't deserve a mechanical benefit, But it's just so disgustingly one sided that there is never any real chance of catching up, or overcoming the stat difference.

If it takes you longer than 2 months to make a good fighting character (like 800 ua + 800 mc) then you're not even trying. How hard is it to start up a pearl bot, buy top Q gear and LA jewelry, buy top curios/curio-crafting infrastructure, and run a curio eater bot for 2 months after one hour of work a day max making curios etc???
