Of course I am opposed to the idea anyway. Considering I can already carry 60 litres of water, the skin+fur of a 500 pound bear, a heavy leather coat, an axe, a saw and various other smaller clothing items and STILL be able to sprint a fair distance I would have to say that inventories are already broken.
Oh give me a break. Lifting must be broken because we can carry dead bears, right? Boats must be broken because we can steer/travel with them without oars or sails, right? Eating must be broken because a backpack full of apples doesn't fill you, right? Ranging must be broken because people don't actually leave smelly imprints when stealing, right?
Inventories aren't broken.
HURR DURR. Just because it is in the game doesn't mean it isn't broken.
Loftar has admitted eating is broken.
The boats are a hastily implemented to shut you all up because everyone was just screaming "BOAAAATS!" any time one of the devs posted.
Ranging was a bit of a stretch for you there. I always saw it as a symbolisation of a hair or a foot print that the perp left behind. Or ranging is just another form of hearth magic.
I personally believe carrying IS broken too. Some things should require more than one Hearthling to carry it or some sort of sled that we can drag.
And finally, as tribute to JFloyd:

Nothing you see will probably ever be the same as it will in the finished stage. A lot of game elements need to be fixed before it can move on.
Your argument is flawed beyond belief, so I say good day to you sir.
