Then there's the potential for someone to make a char, get yeomanry, get 100% tradition, claim, die, claim, die, claim...
But if someone actually did that, you'd really just have to feel sorry for them more than anything else.
Surprise.

That wouldn't work, for two reasons:
1. Claims are supposed to be inherited. They aren't yet, of course, but nevertheless.
2. The tradition/change slider is the only belief slider which isn't inherited. It is always reset to zero when creating a new character.

Well, there goes a bunch of my plans for secure storage and such - can't put claims there and still have more for farms or homes now. :|

Previously, I had four claims:

One claim protecting resources: apple trees, rock, home, tools.
One large claim protecting farms, well, other farm-related tools.
One claim around a kiln, smelter, and an ancient pine tree, protecting the pine tree. (Branches for the branch god, er, I mean kiln)
One last claim protecting saplings I had planted in a clear-cut forest.

Since I'm moving out of the area I was planning to remove the kiln and sapling claims at least, but since new claims are suddenly limited I might keep the others for a while.
