You obviously started before me but i am fairly confident ive probably put more ingame hours then you have seeing how my stats are all 3x higher then yours now... assuming you have not gained much. I am not really worried about thieves... mostly because our village had people form west coast NA and from Europe so there was usually someone online... and we were only a 6-7 people village. If we had more people it would have to be a very sneaky people to break our wall get in and out without someone hearing them or seeing them.

But again... everyone will be so spread out I doubt there will be many issues with theft for awhile. and when it become an issues i doubt little one off people living in the forest will have to worry. it will be larger villages who should arrange their own defenses.

About theft alts... well I dunno. maybe they will go away

That's like saying that maybe bears will go away. Unless the J&L do something that radically changes the game itself, it's unlikely.

It's amazing how disconnected are your perception and reality.

I didn't bring up that issue... he indicated that I obviously dont know what im talking about because im newer than he is... but considering yours and his stats... i doubt you have ever killed/stolen or done anything impactfull in this game yet. Most likely you guys were the one getting picked on anyway...But more likely you guys just post on the forum and dont really actually play the game anymore. I actually have a murder/theif alt who i trained up so I think I can speak on this...

I'm saying you weren't around back when we didn't have summoning. Take my word for it, it was horrible.

Well i guess ill have to take your word for it.

But to put it in perspective ... runescape classic... which was a very different game then now runescape is now... there was only 1 server aswell and you dropped everything upon death... If you attacked or killed someone there was no negative drawbacks. In order to kill someone you basically needed to be extremely skilled or you needed to literally stake out their logout spot. Which meant you and your friends had to stay at the spot they logged out at and try to engage them in combat when they logged in.

Why the hell am i bringing that up?

Because that was one of the best PVP expereinces I had in a game. It forced poeple to stick together and forced the creation of clans and alliances... and when you got attacked you would call all your buddies over to save you. THey have tried to provide the basics in the game for that to occur... villages, walls... herdsman teleport... stuff like that. But as it stands right now the best way to deal with a situation is run in, summon them kill them and get out when they are sleeping. This is not exciting for me and i want it to change...

Summoning is GOOD. Things that make people not fear summoning (helms deeps, boredom, ancestor system) are BAD.

no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."
