Well you know tough shit. It isnt supposed to be easy street. Maybe players should have to actually make a choice instead of blindly rushing max Change.

That's retarded dude. Nubs have a hard enough time breaking into the game and surviving. The whole idea of reworking hunger and tryignt o create more options is based around providing better survivability to nubs without completely nerfing advanced player development.

There's another aspect to this that's intuitive I just know it but it hasn't hit me yet.

It hits me:

FEP mods. at high metabolism you can consume more foods faster but they are worth less. Say at +5 it drains %200 hunger and mods the FEPs gained from food by -%20. At -5 hunger drains at %50 and foods provide +%20 FEPs. Or some such balance might even be %400/-%30 vs. %25/+%30.

So nub survivability is increased without significantly sacrifficing that crucial initial development and as time progresses and one produces more food one can adjust their slider as desired.

So you dont see gameplay practically mandating an extreme belief as at all peculiar? Where the between ranks are mostly without purpose? Where is the benefit of moderation?

Yes, which is why the FEP mod aspect I just proposed encourages some place in between rather than an extreme. Perhaps as a complete nub a completely low metabolism is desired but over time one will want to change it but not all the way, rather, only as according to production rates.
