And way harder to get since not everyone has straw ánd metal.

Bigger wooden house please jorbloftar! Kthx

Thread hijack I know, didn't search I know, sure it has been mentioned before I know, I'm a bad boy I know... but the obvious house, imho, is outstanding, we have bricks, but no brick houses?

Yea, because covering roofs with boughs is "teh realizm", brick houses and roofs made out of clapboards? Meh..

And fix that decay! I had to do emergency repairs on a plaisade and a chicken coop I just build 1 day before -.-

Chipped stone as roof tiles? Nice red brick walls with grey 'slate stone' roof? Needs glass for windows maybe? Maybe it doesn't fit the era though?

I'm sure someone has mentioned this before though.

Yeah, not like there is a damn good reason for the high resource requirements. Not like there hasnt already been a large house put into the game for people without metal and straw...

O wait...

Yeah, not like the stone mansion is bigger then the timber house by far, has two floors and a cellar.

Yes, I get that. But its not only 9x9 instead of 7x7, its 3 floors.

People with access to enough straw (wheat still is hard to find for some people) and metal deserve 3 times better thn people without?

yeah. deal with it. you want a mansion, you have to find or trade for wheat and metal. last map we didn't even have the timber house option.

...and the mansion was only available from somewhere in November if I remember correctly, we didn't start the map with it.

You can dig a cellar in your log houses. And if you're baaaawwing about metal gtfo and trade for it.
