ok, I DONT CARE HOW WINE/VINEGAR WORKS IRL, THIS IS A GAME OK ?, we can make chaces if needed now shut up everyone and lets go to the point, its anoying to make wine just to see it turn into vinegar as well as to bucket it, any IN GAME ideas ?

Yes, what about an option to seal the barrel (using a plug made of something, silkmoth cocoon and glue?) which stops the timer until the barrel is unsealed?

You're right, it was to obvious. Might have been because wax has no real use since the candelabers are way to expensive to make.

barrel should be sealed by default, imo. add an option to open it, then you can bottle the wine or let it turn into vinegar (or a little bit of both). wine in a barrel that's never been opened could last indefinitely.

How about corks, create it from a piece of bark (any kind of bark other then birch), applying the cork to a container seals it, an 'uncork' option is then available and the container needs to be opened before it can be otherwise used, the corks are re-usable. Wine bottles and Barrels can both be sealed in this way and have a different graphic to show they are corked. Wine in any unsealed container turns rapidly and either dose not turn or turns very slowly in a sealed one.
