That too.

But it would make sense for trading, like 'i have a sack of hemp buds q174 and want 2 sack of soil q200+ in exchange'.

  • can only hold one type of object (eg. only apples, only wheat seeds, etc.) over his lifetime, it will accept random allowed item while unused but after that be limited to that type (for sanitary reasons)
  • it has to be corded up to be lifted, requiring one string (which is lost when opening it)
  • dosn't support sorting, only LIFO like a construction sign
As an additional downside to the other, more expensive containers the sack could be unrepairable and decay in 2 hits.

Why? That just about kills all reason to build sacks. I don't see what's so bad about a cheap specialized container being better than a bit more expensive general container.

I can sort of see it only accepting a single item type - but not for its lifetime, because if we were worried about 'sanitation' we'd have uni-liquid barrels. The other stuff is seriously just what.

Being unrepairable and LIFO in particular hurt my brain.

Also I definitely want this because flour sacks.

I agree that in one bag is possible to put only identical products. There are no bags half-filled by potatoes, and half-filled by apples.

We can argue about for lifetime, but fine with me in case it returns to being able to accept everything.

Being unrepairable and LIFO in particular hurt my brain.

Suggestion about unrepairable was to create a drain on linnen cloth (because else you'll have all banners and sacks created and then be done farming fibers).

Idea about LIFO would be to recycle a good part of the construction interface (so that while Loftar is on it he could make the resource buttons wheelable) to get it implemented quicker. It would also offer the possibility to accept different amounts of items, depending of type (stuff like eg. 80 resins, but only 30 apples).

There are reasons why the cupboards are not liftable while filled. I have no idea if limiting a sack to mentioned types will cut it for Loftar and Jorb, so i thought i offer a more restricted suggestion to give them ideas.

EDIT: fixed broken quote

Uhm, if they were repairable you'd need linen to repair them.
