Hunger is fine but think of the implications. To make the stamina drain affect naval combat in any way it would have to be pretty darn significant and it would probably just mean those that go raiding take a couple of extra buckets of good water with them. At the same time you would fuck over trade even more than before because we still haven't got a weight based inventory, we still can't move shit in this world at any decent speed or quantity so please don't fuck with boats until you give trade a buff?

Yeah, I know.

Hey I have a solution here: Give us back our old hunger values. Just because some newbies died of hunger (and it is totally possible to avoid that) you have rendered food production more or less useless. I am sitting on my farm with dozens of cupboards full of food and throwing away tons of it, because I simply don't know what to do with it.

Back to topic: Well ok I guess I wouldn't love to keep on drinking while rowing, but anything that makes me hungry is good, you are right.

I guess I was a bit slow here, but basically my point can also be applied to trade, because food trade is so dead right now.

Or just keep the new values and start doing something else than farming & baking. ;)

There is nothing else to do dude. And remember idle hands are either quitting hands or let's kill 100 noobs hands.

Perhaps horses should allow maximum possible speed without as much stamina loss, and taking damage while on a horse makes you fall off.

What, cant you just shoot their horse out from under them?

speaking of which archery is totally kind of boring

I assume that horses would move real fast, making them hard targets. And if they come with barding, you'll have to shoot them with a ranger bow. 'Sides, if you can hit the horse, you can also hit the rider, so why not go straight for the head?

Sadly, that doesn't matter at all in the current archery system, AFAIK. And I really doubt we're getting archery revamp together with horses.
