The game encourages raiding. Why shouldn't someone be able to have a powerful little fort and raid out from it? I don't like the idea but even so, raiders shouldn't be made magically weaker. The point of this thread was that defenders should be safer. Having stronger walls will help your poor little farmers who are getting griefed much much more than it will help any raiders anyway. It is FAR more likely for a raider to have insane STR and be able to destroy a palisade (so far) by themselves than a farmer. If the little farmer can build stronger walls he is far more likely to survive, or at least to deter all but the most dedicated raiders. Think about the implications of somehting next time. Do you seriously think you could break through a raiders 2 layered brick wall without a ram now?
The last few raids were accomplished by people hiding behind stuff until someone with keys came out. And the game doesn't encourage raiding. Defenders will not be safe if attackers know they can retreat to their impenetrable fortress. Why don't you think about the implications of something next time?
