yes we can lift heavier stuff but saying that is going to serve as a argument to force those things to become something you need several people to lift rather then a argument to make cows liftable.

My hearthling trapped the wild cow in a pen and murdered all it's friends and family right in front of it. Then he beat it until it forgot it's family's butcher was standing in front of it and then beat it some more until it became cool with giving up it's carefree wild life on the heathland in order to live in it's small cramped pen. I think he could get the same cow to let him carry it places.
yeah except that doing that represents the slow over time taming of the cow, only we dont have that much time so instead its done in about a hour. taming it to the point of being cool about getting picked up is a whole different thing, even if its possible at best it would be another hour of the same thing and youd have to do it for each animal. cause even the ones born tame will go "te fuck?" if you come around and try to lift them in rl.
