Labels with date doesnt make much sense, does it? Since we dont have a calendar.

Labels make with glue/wax was my original idea but after doing some research I found the first wine-label was parchment & string applied to wine bottles by some monks. If you think about it this is very reasonable, it's easier to get string then either glue or wax, I think making 5 labels from 1 parchment + 1 string would be reasonable, labels should be cheap. The current message length and UI on parchment could be retained for use only on labels, while full parchment gets a larger multi-line entry as many have suggested, thus allowing a recycling of the current UI minimizing implementation costs.

Who cares about reasonable @ costs, wine is pretty much for the 'arrived' players in HnH, who can afford pretty much everything.

I agree, but you should still be able to rename stuff.

Wtf? Wine is one of the most affordable things in HH. Every noob can make it...

They only used parchment/string because it was affordable, easy, and nothing more was needed. Glue is used now because it looks better and is easier to ship.

Wine is probably one of the easiest things to make. I had wine before I had most other things.

Drinking wine needs a glass though, (amiright?) which isnt so common. Also, that every noob could make it doesnt say they know how to.
I bet more then 50% of the characters dont even have 5 skills.

That doesn't make sense, wine glass is super simple to make and anyone who was directed to the wiki can make one easily. As for the wine, finding grapes is just chance and isn't hard at all..

I'm proposing a way to make simple labels that can be attached to ANY inventory capable object in the game and adds text to its tool-tip. Wine is just one thing they could be used for but the possibilities are really enormous.
