Sure, you can do almost anything with anything else - given stubborness and time, like hammering down a nail with a microscope. But I`d prefer a right tool for the right task.

Carry 3 dreams and 2 dream catchers. You can set up your claim immedately and the next morning can harvest 3 dreams back easily. I am sure somewhere within the massive space of the wagon you can squeeze in a few dreams and dreamcatchers. Not hard at all.

Yes Blxz, but Arriel doesn't want to think about it and consider options, let alone actually experiment and see what works.
Arriel has DECIDED it is TOO HARD and now it is up to the devs to make it easier for Arriel.

Sure thats cool. While they are at it I'd love to have their god character powers so I can delete parts of my palisade with the fork cursor of doom. Building a ram is wayy to much effort on my part. I want it easy....

Actaully, there's a post around somewhere in which I proposed giving lawspeakers/chieftans the ability to spend village authority on deletion.
I wanted to use it to clean up RoB back when it existed. I can still see it being useful for anti-grief and general clean up measures in large villages now (although I guess you wouldn't want to let people use it to delete rams :P)

Perhaps make claim markers lift-able and able to be stored in wagons so long as the claim is freed, so you can just de-claim, throw the marker in the wagon and go. The idea of hauling around a ton of dream catchers or piles of surplus dreams seems really un-nomadic. For that matter Dream-catchers are themselves rather silly, why don't dreams just appear in your inventory when you sleep, that would be some much more intuitive.

Just forage the string as you go along, set up camp and build the dreamcatchers on the spot. It's really not that hard.

And what's so unintuitive about a dream catcher... catching dreams?

Spite aside, i did try.
Following your train of thought, why would anyone need a wagon at all - just use 5 carts, right? :D Why would devs want to make anything easier for anyone, ffs, you must be right here.

I really don't think this is unreasonable. So that others don't walk off with your calim stake, make it so that only the owner of the claim can lift his stake and as soon as he does, it declaims and refunds LP as normal.

Maybe dream catchers are silly, but not as silly as having to do inventory management after every time I sleep. I would rather like to see a different suggestion if dream catchers are to be replaced.

Carts are for pussies, real men use alt trains following at crawl speed

Exactly!
OP not really a man, hence the carts as example. But I like yours better.
