Tutorial Area for nublets would be nice.

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Which actually brings beginning a 'Newbie town' as an idea, there are already huge projects taken on by groups such as Constantinople being the 'trade city', why not have a group start up a newbie town encampment? Obviously this would need to be a project by someone who's interested, and strong enough, but just an idea.

Has been tried more than once back in world two and failed everytime. Someone constantly has to watch over the place, defend it against griefers, replace stuff etc. etc. Nobody liked to do that in the long term. There was even a guy making a newbie trail where you wandered from one point to the next, each explaining another part of the game. He gave up after a while.

I think just a noob only area would be good, a place like where you create your chara where only you can go there, or an extension to that area like a cave type deal where you get a bit of a tutorial or at least a few BASIC skills, such as stone working or lumberjacking, cuz i know I hate building 20 fires with limited branches.

Aw When I first started this game being dropped into the middle of the wilderness having no clue what to do was the most fun part, having a tutorial would ruin that wilderness survival feeling I think. Maybe just make an official Survival Guide covering the basics and put it in some sort of book form in the peoples inventory or attached to the client. Anything but a tutorial area!
