Seed Bag+ food trough

You can deposit seeds from seedbags into troughs, but you have to have a seed in your inventory to start.

Makes no sense. Fix it.

Exactly you should be able to drop the seedbag, or empty entire contents of seedbags at once. Having a full inventory of 30 seedbags(270 seeds) takes a lot of clicking.

if shift-click works to fill the trough it's news to me. THe only way i can fill it is right clicking with the food item. I've tried shift clicking about a million times, even in the one or two rare occasions when it wasn't lagging, and it simply will. not. work. At least not for me. Really, if you guys can shift click then what are you complaining about? I'm having to fill a trough every day by dragging and dropping.

Oh, and they could also make animals eat all tiles with food on them. Meaning they could eat a tile of wheat for four food units. That way you could just have several small fenced fields and transfer them from one to the other as you replant. This would make much more sense than any other system really.

But wtf are you guys complaining about if you can shift click? That'd be a dream come true lol. I spend half my time harvesting and filling troughs.

Its fun when the game reminds you you're a noob, that way when you get killed because you forgot to equip your sword it will not be so bad. Hehe.

EDIT: After using this method I am one iota short of bowing down to you in thankful worship potjeh Now if only shift + right click would plant seeds in the order of highest quality in your inventory, it would be perfect. I would still like to see the ability for animals to graze on field units tho.

That would require ctrl+shift+rightclick if implemented.

However you can indeed do this. Get all your seeds sort them by highest quality into a cupboard (shift+ctrl+rightclick) and then put them in your inventory using massmove only (without quality modifier!) (Shift+rightcilck). Your highest quality will now be at the bottom right, and your lowest at the top left. Now use the shift+rightclick method.

And, instead of making a new thread on troughs (as I am ever so keen to do) how about letting us put peas, onions, hops, and flowers into the troughs as well? Would rather they be used, and drop the fodder Q than throwing them on the ground and waiting for them to decay.

Probably would get more people to stay in H&H if such a thing was implemented.
