They should make it possible to revive dead characters without any loss of stats for a small fee. And then they should make it possible to kill offline characters without scents.

Those is bad idea - as affects one of core elements of game - permadeath. Killing player so he lose everything he worked on for months is different thing then killing to lose some bucks. Such changes done by not-so-smart game developers (well, they have very special sort of smartness - in area of taking of money from players) is thing that made ppl like Grog or burgingham blindly dislike whole idea. Not our way.

Lets stop hysteric and constructively discuss. We got problem in game and may be you know better solution.

Problem is - LAGs caused, mainly I hope, by not adequate server platform (I include there bandwidth). Current LAG situation can satisfy only macroers as normal players not able to play effectively and macro does not care about fun (he is machine from iron and silicon you know). I see two ways to deal with: suicide myself as playing with LAG is not option or push for better platform. I choose second as I like to live and like game.

For now I offered J&L to pay dedicated server fees by myself (not yet got answer) as I does not religiously hate to pay little money for pleasure (may be other smart people will support me there), but you should understand - those is temporary solution, free cheese is only in trap. Game should support itself to keep dynamic evolution.

25% is not much, actually those lead to less then 10% in skill values. And much lesser then active players have over not so active players. And, if premium will cost like 5 euro/month - those is "no money" even in Russia, and even less in Europe or US. Even for child or unemployers. Those is more then adequate payoff for all fun we get in HH. I'm nearly sure your negative reaction is caused by commercial games headed to screw players and I talk about different thing.

Sry, mate. English is not my native and money is intimate thing people tends to react vigorously about. So I prefer to keep things clear as much as possible.

No I reacted that way because this discussion is useless. Jorb and Loftar have stated time and time again they won't ever charge anything for H&H. It was enough of a hassle to get them to accept donations, so lets just donate if we want to get this game lagfree. I do agree though that some other payment options for donations would be nice. Moneybookers or Neteller would work fine for me.

Long story short: The lag has become near unplayable for me quite often, especially since I farm quite a lot. All I am asking for is for the dev's to let us know what is needed and what the plan is to drastically improve the situation... just give me hope, 'tis all I ask.

As far as I know, the problem with the connection is that they can't find a provider that can give them faster speeds than what they already have.

Personally I've found the lag annoying but not unbearable. Clearly many others feel the same way, else they would not keep playing

Huh, ok, I got point. I can understand those but not accept... I seen some indie games before and every ended in two ways: or they become commercial in some way or got dead as developers tends to lose interest or commitment over time. And I think HH costs being developed ) Well, may be time just not came yet.

I hope J&L have some other solution for lag-issue then.
