Why the hell do you need Psy to be equal to your other stats? Do you actually use it often?

The only real problem I have with the FEP system is that you might chose to become a hunter right now and as such lvl con/str/agi but later on there would be a patch that makes stealth invaluable again for your chosen role (say, because of a change to tracking).
And then you'd be screwed with your 10 int and 200 FEP bar.

(ignoring here that int is easy to raise via cheese)

edit: though I guess this isn't a flaw of the FEP system but more due to the game being in alpha. I actually like the FEP system

I don't see a problem with getting locked into a role by your own choices. If you want to play a completely different character, go start a new character.

No I mean when your role stays the same but the stats required for it change due to new updates. Like eg a slew of new cooking recipes that also require int for example.

Oh that. Well, yeah, I agree it's the problem of the game being in alpha, it wouldn't exist in a finished game so the FEP system isn't faulty.

Wait what cooking recipes require int ? :O which ones?

And you only need one psy character per village.

Assuming that he/she will almost always be online. It seems a village accessable alt with high psy makes sense.
