Bread dough

I am a newbie and it took me forever untill I asked my friend how do I make bread dough. I looked in the baking goods and all I saw was bread. I forgot that bread had to be cooked in an oven not crafted and besides wouldn't bread dough be an ingredient to making bread all the same? I personaly think it would be helpfull to have bread dough in the ingredients list or atleast change its name and icon because you won't be crafting bread just the bread dough.

BTW from beginning I'm confused that rope is in cloths not in tools...

I think Potjeh's explanation is fair enough. All the dough icons look pretty similar, so it might be just as confusing (if not moreso) if it used the dough icons instead of the product icons. However, I think it would simply help if it said "bread dough" instead of "bread". But you really have to get used to a lot of things in this game. You won't know exactly how to plant a tree or look for mines unless you ask, check the wiki, or spend a lot of time experimenting. In the end, it's you, the player, who has to accomodate.
