Since when do the devs do resurections on request?

Apparently you know shit-all about Blizzard Customer Support. For one, cancelling doesnt erase your guys. For two, they have to deal with account theft a lot.

I based it on that video where that dude cancelled his younger brother's account and an epic tantrum ensued

Alright, now my view on these things might be a bit blurred but what I can read out of this situation is that

a) Haven has cool mods who don't want their close friends/oldfags to feel bad (unfair to some extent, but totally understandable IMO)
b) Gato was made to exploit the niceness of our mods (by whatever means, really, idunno)
c) Rage got his char back
d) Sodom vs. Goon ragefest ensued
e) Gato and Rage lost both their chars
f) loftar will now care even less about us, since we'll bitch about him anyway, whatever he does

Correct me if I'm wrong. f) hurts me most about this.

Mods don't have special ingame powers. Loftar is not a mod, he is a developer. Will he care less about us? I'm sure he still loves us very much and if he could give you a hug over the internet he would.

I'm pretty sure Jorb and Loftar are quite used to us bitching by now.

Yeah, that may have been a bit over the top. TBH I could've lived with it if Rage stayed alive as well, as long as we got assurances that it was a one time thing only, and nobody would get rezzed like this in the future.
