They build up their characters to be able to play and function the way they wish to, they dont spam alts, they dont do things to fuck with game mechanics "just because" They dont block brodgar with walls, or set claims on them, They dont make a massive colony of thieves who arent skilled enough to avoid detection or defend themselves and then throw a DAMIR when they are raided.

You arent real players because of your actions, we KNEW goons were no good before you acted like a bunch of twats, we gave benefit of the doubt, but you proved us right by disappointing us when we expected, maybe, you'd behave within the games guidelines and mechanics without being jackasses.

And as soon as you dont like someone a typical goon thing to do is pull up a google search and glean as much personal info of a person as possible, sometimes going so far as to break federal laws and even harass them through mail or on the phone.

You're a fucking moron. The point of an alpha is to find broken game mechanics so they can be fixed. APPARENTLY NO ONE EVEN TRIED TO STARVE TO DEATH BEFORE JTG, so starvation was totally broken and exploitable.

There is ONE subforum (with subcategories) for people who play games, and there are maybe a little over a thousand people in it right now. There are over 2 thousand people in the general forum, which is mostly what it sounds like -- random thoughts and news articles.

Even if you argue that every single person EVER who hangs out in the Games forum is a HORRIBLE GRIEFER AND NOT HUMAN, that's less than one third of the Something Awful community (I am fudging numbers a lot here, not accounting for people in Games right now who hang out in Gibbis, or people in Gibbis right now who hang out in Games).

You can't possibly believe that over a hundred thousand users are griefers and only griefers -- you can't even argue that all of them play video games, or play video games with goons, let alone play MMOs with goons and grief those MMOs while playing. We play just fine by ourselves -- I do, in fact, play just fine by myself (with a buddy now, though :3), farming and making beer and eating -- and then I got bored and I'm probably going to quit, but that's because of a lack of finesse in the crafting system, which is what had interested me in the first place.

I thought the point of that was "even though it's a small minority of people, they're really noticable so people have the impression there's more of them than there really are". Like how the really psycho Christians are the ones who are really loud and annoying about it, and give Christians a bad name even though the majority of them are normal.
