lol upon realizing this thread is not that old I must definitely post my strong opposition against removing PvP seeing as thread is apparently in response for people wanting PvP removed or changed. For me, it is the main thing which drew me to this game and the main method of fun in this game.

Actually it was originally written by jorb on Feb 08, 2010 and crossposted over a year later by the mods.

I do not mind PvP, I do mind PvP revolving around game-breaking bugs though.

That;s fair enough. I love the always-on PvP, but the fact that people are so vulnerable to bugs is pure shit. Fight fair, already.

Guess you better quit playing MMOs, then. Don't know of one without bugs.

The problem is not because the game has bugs, the problem is because abuse of bugs are not punished and enforcement within the game is fairly loose.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but J&L have been pretty good about dealing with game breaking bugs in the past. If something wasn't working right, they changed it. The problem is the same as with server up time and response times. They just don't have the time to handle everything right now and work at their 40+ hr per week job.

This?

I figured my point, as snide as my comment is, was reasonable. As long a bug exists in anything, someone is going to attempt to abuse it because there's always the odds A) nobody else will notice and B) if anyone does notice, will anything actually be done? If that isn't satisfactory, then it's best to just get out before you drive yourself to crazy.

Wait? Are you guys going to remove PVP?

HELL NO MAN! Dont do that! PVP is the reason why I play this game, I love the fact its open PVP... if people cant handle the fact they arent smart enough, they dont have the skills to survive in this game then they dont deserve to play it...

Dont restrict PVP please! I remember in the previous World I got killed a few times but I loved the fact of danger and actually losing a lot when you die in the game, if PVP is removed I dont even know if I'll still play this game... :(

Just a tough.

You call "smart enough" the fact that you have a skill and another not?

usually you can be strongher than me but at last if i want to punch you, damn, i try to punch your face. XD
here you need to buy "punch the face of that troll", to be able to click on it. It's not Free pvp. is pvp allowed for who buy the skill.

To be a real free pvp, everyone should be able to kick each others. The one that is Smarter, strongher, well equiped or have friends, surely is advantaged like hell but it is fine, just normal.

Anyway, just wondering why the "skill needed". Time ago it seemed a way to prevent people to kill too much but actually it's not working. In 2 week most of the people is able to rage or murder.

The difference between a farmer and a warrior is "i have the skill, you don't have it."
Could be "I know how to fight, you dont!" ?

Well, is a random idea, didn't worked on fix it.
