You're average joe only picks up on them in people because well, he is a human. If he looked at two Deer, one from lets say Florida, and one from, Toronto area. He wouldn't be able to pick up on much difference beyond size. HOWEVER, to the two deer it would be like an asian man meeting a a redhead.
