Adding possibility of recycling metal items. Quality decreasing quality of obtened bars and quantity (items crafted with one bar give five nuggets for exemple)

So in worst case scenario somone could easily get like 1000 nuggets of iron from one bar?

If you want recycled metals then it can only be fair if you don't get full metal value and quality back. Even then I doubt it would be bars you got back. Maybe 2-3 nuggets from a full bar would be fair. Metal rusts, corrodes, gets used and reduced by use over time. You would never get full value back.

Is only for discovering metal for noobs. Many abandoned metallic items in the world like plow, grinder and tools. noob smelt plow in ore smelter and have one or two or three nuggets of iron or steel or bronze. This motivate new players to not abandon and give possibility for the old players and villages to recycling extra items accumulated in time. Too, give possibility of trader without silver and gold mine discovering nuggets from rings. other idea is possible ;)

Some crappy ideas to keep the discussion going:
1) You should be able to talk when knocked down. We don't have to be too realistic about that, since u can already see and hear others. You might persuade the attacker to spare you or something.
2)The attacker can "tie" a knocked down player, which makes him incapable of standing up until he leaves (or until 5 minutes).
3) a tied player can be carried and be taken as a hostage (lol)

Ok, the 3rd one is stupid, how about the others?

That is also a nice idea so that people won't litter the environment with trash :P. Maybe do the same with some other items as well. There could be a standard amount of resources an item will give. For example, a crate (created by 4 planks) gives one plank when recycled, a metal plow gives 7 nuggets, 2 branches, 2 blocks of wood etc. (items with metal would need an ore smelter or something)

1) No, your knocked out, not down.

2) No need as in if they put you down they can probably keep you down or kill you.

3) No! Taking away a players game time just for your amusement is only a way to kill the game.

The only recycling besides metal might be wood to burn. Wood is plentiful in Haven. I really see no need to recycle it. And if you did recycle wood from a non quality item it would come out q10 regardless of original quality. SImply because it would be a bit far fetched to track quality on every item and then have to calculate wear to determine a new quality for it.

Even recycled metal might be a couple nuggets from a bars worth and again like would it would be default come out q10.

Is there a way to keep you down without killing I don't know? Is there a reason not to include that?

About recycling, yes it doesn't make much sense to do it for wood (you are supposed to use the wood, so you can't turn it back to blocks for example). It should mainly be from metal, that can be reformed. Maybe wood could be recycled into few firewoods as you said. That would serve mainly the purpose to reduce leaving tons of crates that are not needed. Not too important though.

Add deconstruct skill, which would allow us to get resources back from the buildings/objects as we demolish them! :D

Maybe new resources, like marble! Also add a few craftable statues, it would be really nice to have some more deco. Unsure if this is already in the game, put chain/scale/platemail armors? It would be really nice to have those too. And since you added horses to the game, maybe some kind of horse-armor and saddles? Also LANCES for mounted fighting
