I come fairly close to "clearcutting" an area when I do it all in one shot, but i do wind up replanting the trees and carting the lumber and stumps off for good use... I'd hate to have some supermassive treemonster wreck me just because i wanted to expand my digs... How would you differentiate between a clearcutter and a diligent carpenter?

Well what about - clear-cutting 50+ trees in one day? You do not need 100+ logs for your cabin, unless you are building Babylon tower :)

That could lead to many people saying: "OMG! TREE THANG STOLEZ MEH KEYZ!"

Maybe just act like a boar only faster. or about 6 Grevious damage, about average of a boar,/bear.

One Thing I always wanted dryads to do: Be killed and skinned for their awesome hair...Gives a +1 Nature bonus. Yay for killing nature.
