Are you referring to the exchange between PoisonedV and I? I don't think we're flaming each other... Poison hasn't insulted me, and I hope I haven't insulted Poison. I think what we're talking about (self regulation) is pretty relevant to the topic of moderation...

Possible counterpoint to needing one: You can ignore people who frequently troll you. I myself have already ignored numerous people on the forums simply because I know I can fall victim to a troll.

I think the ignore function is moderation enough. If more people used it, trolls would give up when they realize nobody is reading what they write.
