It would be great if you could hear a growl if you got to close, Actualy it would be great if you could hear a growl when you got to close to any attacking animal - dam ninja boars jumping out from behind trees :x

While I'm not sure how well it would fit into slavic myths, I would seriously like to see war bears one day. Sure, dogs are a priority, but having an 800+ HP creature/(mount?) by your side, maybe with basic armor equipped, would totally look badass.

As for NPC guards, I'm sure there could be something like the vodyanoi who watch over your place for a sacrifice every now and then. Would fit into the overall story and feel of HnH and actually add to game depth instead of becoming just another exploitable element.

More into the Ursa Arcadius, Arch Duke of the Highbears direction or rather bear cavalry?
