as asome as that would be it's not possible with the world appearing 2D it works better in a 3D world like in Wurm I rember some friends I met were making an island in a lake

If digging lakes were impossible with 3D-on-2D graphics, there wouldn't be the lakes already there.

Great idea, lolololol. I'll just build my brickwall and build a moat around it. Yay, noone could ever kill me, I am free to leave all the scents I want because noone can break brickwalls anymore unless they have a ram. I would only have to worry about betrayal from the inside...

Sounds like the perfect use for a raft to me, float the ram right up to the wall or a pontoon bridge with boats.

At any rate, I think digging a canal would be neat. Possibly have how close water is to a farm increase Q of crops, basic irrigation.

I'd like to add my support for this idea. I'd really like to put up a settlement far from the river so people don't happen upon it often, but the reliance on a constant food supply (fish) and water makes it difficult to do so.
