+1 to wolfpacks

are we talking the regular-sized eagles or the extinct Haast eagles, setting break nonwithstanding? and would eagles be able to attack hearthlings in boats?

also DO WANT water-based wildlife: muskrats, nutrias and beavers. they'd all be capable of swimming fast without drowning and attacking boat passengers if provoked, but move at a crawl on land - just to make a break from the regular "row down the river and shoot everything in sight for arrow-heads and LP" mechanic.

I have no problems with wolves hunting in groups but i know for a fact even though wolves maybe a lot larger then the average household dog they are far more agile. This means trying to wack them with a sword would be idiotic, and if they surround you most likely youll be mauled pretty good. Now im sure your asking why Im not complaining about the bears and boars, for the most part boars are killed as the charge at the hunter either back n the old days where they keep their spear close letting it run fatally into it, and bears... Well I know I personally wouldnt try to attack one with a sword or my bare hands but you know some othe rperson might try it.

I don't understand what you're trying to say, are you trying to say that swords should do less damage against animals, or are you saying that J&L should implement spears...

What angers you about it? You know that when they run, it cancels aggro, leaving you the opportunity to go into peace mode. Then you can sneak up and club them. ^^

Yes, but that forfeits most LP from killing it, because as soon as combat is cancelled you lose the LP from your damages.

Wolves (and taming them into dogs) have already been suggested numerous times in the past. I'm pretty sure I saw a wolf sprite in some topic somewhere, too... Beavers and other wildlife have also been suggested already; you should search and suggest different ideas in a different topic since this one's probably been written off already.

Erm, isn't H&H supposed to be set in Germany/central Europe?
