Wheat
Flax
Onions
Hops
Carrots

Has anyone had luck finding the herbs to make a mine yet?

We've got carrots, onions and wheat in our little camp, plus some flower called a Blood Stem. We have no clue what it does.

Is blood stem a new crop, or a herb?

I believe it's an herb. It was just a little flower sitting between two trees. I totally missed it, but my friend saw it and grabbed it.

Yeah. Can't be eaten, or planted. Most logical assumption then is herb table... haven't seen any flax or hemp yet though.

Flax may be found in the purple "heath" splotches.
Surprise.

When a free spirit takes to form of a hearthling it knows little more than a very small child that has just learnt to walk and talk.
All they know is the small knowledge the gods impart upon them, like speech and how to eat.
As you go live and learn, you learn creative things like farming and crafting, but you also learn how to be evil like stealing and hurting others.
This is just the same as that, you need to learn how to swim before you can. Sure it takes more than just learning the skill, but you wouldn't go face a level 10 bear when you only have 5 unarmed as soon as you learn how to punch stuff, would you?

Basically what I am saying is, when you start out your hearthling is a dumb shit. Your goal is to make it less of that. Preparing it for swimming by gaining constitution is just another way to make him/her less of a retard.
