I might be a noob asking this, but is there already a client that does this?
Hope you have a great day

only one client (old - Mentor/Deboon) is showing decay of some stuff...

The gob class contains all the info on objects around the world. It wouldn't be to difficult to add a Q variable like on items and have the server update it. I suspect Loft is either being reluctant cause of game balance reason as adding this would be a 20 min fix or he has other things on his priority list. If he added a server side fix people could fix the UI client side without him having to code it in himself.

As for using a tool to get the info to me it just sounds dumb. Why make it more complicated when your only trying to get a Q info which could be either an easy 20 min fix or a 2 day coding fest to add a new feacher.

still no way of telling the Q of built objects? after 3 years? does the client get the info from the server and just doesn't show it in the UI or is the value not "streamed"?

can we PLEASE get that feature?

Ofc this has been said a lot of times, I did it like months ago, and at that time I got the answer that it was posted several times way before. :?
I still love it to happen. :D

For the ones that argue that this would make it easier for picking what to destroy in a raid, which I think is correct, I say: lets make something to be added to the item, a parchment, a metal piece, carved wood, whatever. The ones like me that keep on forgetting Q and moving stuff, would be glad to have it, and the ones that do not want the Q to be shown, simply will not add it.
Or the other way around, get the crafting of the item come with the possibility to be labeled and give players the chance to remove it.

Anyway, is there any client out there that shows Q?, I will be gratefull if someone points me to it. (XCom you can make it happen? ;) ).

If the quality level is not included with the update packets (i am not familiar with the H&H protocol) then no client can display the quality. I assume this is the case ... otherwise modded clients would probably have implemented this a long time ago already. It's 2-3 lines of code.
