it says 'cannot find tools.jar'
and then it says 'Buildfile: build.xml does not exist' - but it does...

For me and another goon, running your client will completely break our internet connection until we reboot.

cannot find tools.jar is something ant says when it can't work our the location of your installed JDK.
Make sure JAVA_HOME is set up correctly and on your path, also make sure it's pointing at a JDK as opposed to just a JRE.

can't find build.xml indicates that you may be running ant from the wrong folder?

That is extremely strange... I wouldn't have thought java was capable of doing such a thing.
Does the java process continue to run in the background?

can we have slightly clearer instructions please?
im currently installing JDK but i have a feeling nothings going to work because i can barely understand what you need to do from these instructions.
im not a coder so most of the jargon being used means nothing to me.

Did you try making a JNLP file by any chance, theTrav? It should make things a lot easier for others, and I'm very interested to see how well it works (with components on different sites and what not).

i got it to work after some work. it works pretty well, found it smooth.
Loftar you should really try his client and try to implement some of the window features. HH should allow a UO style 'black space' where you can position your relevant windows without blocking the game window.

Yes, I've considered the same thing myself. It's just that it's UI work, and I don't particularly like that. :P
