Boar tusk snuff isn't anything like opium. Opiates have a sedative effect, bts makes you want to kill things.

Well, opiates don't really heal. They're just painkillers that mimic what the body can already naturally produce in smaller levels over short periods of time. They are only ever used to numb the body. Some of them will actually sedate, other concoctions can cause rages.
