I doubt the OP intended this to be added RIGHT NOW, sometime after the LP and Combat system overhaul, new buildings, and all the other awesome shit J&L are planning to implement.

Vanity items always come last.

Lets say you want a hooded blue cloak with red trim. This would work like equipping an item, except the item is equipping another item. Here is how you would make that cloak."

Delamore made half a good point there.

You, my good Jackard, have bad reading. It would be one sprite, a white one, and there is a simple java code that can change the color. Also, I admit, H&H has quite a few never before seen things. But no need to go all apeshit on me, I love this game!

Where did the idea of one sprite per colour come in?

I thought the OP was talking about splitting up pieces of clothing into several sprites that can be swapped around and, more importantly, separately color shifted.

also,

Haven & Hearth is an amazing game, but there is nothing groundbreaking or never-seen-before systems in it. Here is my idea, *insert something used in many other games here*

Custom items, not as impossible as you think!!

I was rather disappointed in this thread actually, thought it might be something interesting like the customized crafting i mentioned in in my item quality thread

instead its yet another post on dye, with a misnomer and stating the obvious (hey devs if you want to dye things!! you need a base color that can be dyed!!! GENIUS)

I'd like to argue that Haven has several systems that are fairly unique. But, of course, I'm biased.

Just want to make sure... is this the thread where you get to steamroll other people's ideas, be a smart-ass and generally behave like a fucking asshole? It seems particularly bad here, but quite common in other threads too.

Being able to hide behind your monitor, away safely from those that you are critisizing doesn't make you an instant hero. If you have to critisize, make it constructive... or SHUT THE FUCK UP - you're rude and annoying!
