Yes in mass flights because the walls are higher then people so how could the person even know if someone was behind the wall, so you have to release alot of arrows to even hope to hit someone. Also whats different from them being AFK in a house or AFK in the open? My little settlement had times when i would walk into the house and there were 3 people shoved in every nook and crany afk....

This is an MMO that was created in order to simulate the danger of wilderness life.
You should not be able to safely AFK outside even inside your palisade. This reduces the "Dangerous" feel of the game and makes it more carebeary.
Is it really so hard to AFK inside a house?

Oh and I dislike the whole "Archery can't kill people" thing. Archers are already in need of a buff, and a nerf of this size would completely ruin the tactic.

Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I've decided from this point on, i won't even try arguing sense to anyone without a shred of intelligence, because no matter what i say, no matter how foolish your response is, you'll still argue it.

Archers are worthless in battles.
The only thing they were useful at is sniping people over walls.

Stop this. "UR FUKEN RETARDED I WONT EVEN TRY" isn't an argument.
And yes, this is very much a nerf. An archer literally not being able to kill someone would completely destroy archery as a valid tactic, as the whole point of combat is to, you know, kill someone. Archers are pretty much close to worthless now as steel plates will stop the best of arrows, so I think it would improve the game if archers were to receive some kind of buff (IE, armor penetrating arrows) instead of being nerfed into obsolescence by becoming objectively worthless in a combat situation.

I am completely okay with making "fog of war" an effect of walls. That would be actually a solution I am happy with, so that I don't have to see the people :D.
