Image spam aside, a spoiler could be a useful too for text as well. Apples for Oranges topics could find it very useful to organize menus and deals in a much more compact way, and Congress threads could use them, especially the aggregate topic types would be very useful with spoilers (as you could hide outdated information which might still be desired to keep for historical context). Also some Critique & Ideas could use the function to categorize the subject and details of the postings as well.
