The problem is all of this pushes away casual players. Its good that exp players help noobs but in the end a lot of people hate lurking on forums or reading 3 pages just for very basic information.

Haven may be a very long in development game but it is a good one. The finished polish may not be there and as things change may not have details listed. So its really necessary at this point to read things others players have found and placed up for you. Hopefully when things are mostly done there will be more in game text but at the moment it is not there.

the only hard part of starting in this game is finding people to play with, the game itself is easy as hell to learn but not worth playing without a village

but that's just a problem with community more than game
